Jonah has a crazy story.
If you haven’t read through the 4 chapters of Jonah, I highly recommend pulling out your Bible (or visiting Bible.com) and check them out.

Because of his disobedience, Jonah is swallowed by a large fish, then (after he completes his original task) he gets mad at God (who just saved him) for accepting the repentance of the people the Lord sent Jonah to warn.
This is such a great reminder that:
1) Our disobedience lands us in places that we don’t plan, can’t imagine, or even want to be in.
2) Even when we are obedient that doesn’t necessairly mean we will understand the outcome.
3) Our God is a forgiving God who is cheering for us and wants us to get back on track with Him.
